On the morning of 21st March 2024, SF ship's first 3500TEU dual-fuel container ship completed LNG liquid tank lifting.
The LNG tank is the fuel tank of 3500TEU dual-fuel reefer container vessel built by SF shipyard for European ship owner Hartmann. The tank is the world's largest finished twin lug vertical C-type fuel tank with volume of 4650 cubic metres, the tank is made of 9% nickel steel with low temperature resistance, classed by DNV, with design pressure of 6.0 bar, external pressure of 0.25 bar, maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3, and maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3, with design pressure of 0.25 bar, and maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3, and maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3, and maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3, and maximum cargo density of 500kg/m3. The maximum cargo density is 500kg/m3, the design temperature is -163° and the total weight is 460T.
The LNG tank of this project is lifted underwater, and the tank is fixed by low temperature epoxy fixing, which is very demanding, and the clearance with the hull structure is only 50mm on one side, which is very demanding for the control of hull construction precision, the project team has made sufficient preparation before lifting, after many calculations, and through the computer simulation of lifting process, and the site is strictly in accordance with the lifting process, and finally, under the protection and escort of the Maritime Gogang Coastal Patrol Law Enforcement Team, it is lifted in one lift, and then it is lifted in one lift, and then it is lifted in one lift.
